Fold up those spare duvets into a cushion cover
If you struggle to find places to store those spare duvets, how about storing them in plain view…..well almost!
A Swedish friend of ours, Annika, has come up with a fantastic and innovative way for duvet storage……inside cushion covers!
Most duvets look and feel just like a regular cushion. Simply fold the duvet into a size suitable for you cushion cover, pop it inside and give it a wiggle and shake to plump it into shape and voila, all done.
A light summer duvet should fit into a largish cushion cover, say 50 or 60cm square. Heavier duvets or double duvets will need bigger cushion covers obviously.
Now you can turn the traditional bulk of a duvet into easy and pretty storage. Thanks to clever Annika. I think the Swedish are just naturally good at finding clever storage solutions!
